I remember being 14 and reading MHA for the first time, I saw Izuku and thought I love him, he is so cute, so brave and so so so small. I hated seeing ppl online calling him a crybaby, because they didn't understand how much strength it took him to get where he was, and it matter if he cried about it, it didn't make it him less of a hero. I think what I like the most about Izuku it's his determination and compassion, he started from nothing and became what he wanted to be all his life.

Also in the mid 2010s anime wasn't cool, I got kinda bullied for liking it (I was a nerd so it wasn't just the anime thing lol) but amidst of this I took solace that the stories were good, and particularly mha (I think S1 was about to air or was just beginning), I keep thinking that Izuku was bullied too, so if he made it out I could too (mine was never that bad, but I was a teenager and was dramatic)

All this lead to Izuku becoming an inspiration for me, when I was back in college and didn't want to study I thought of him, and it gave a little bit of strength to study or work. Even now I aspire to be a good person just like he is.
